Mom Sues Pre-School After Daughter Dies

PORTLAND, OR -- The mother of a young girl who died after choking on a meatball at her preschool has fied a $7.6 million in a lawsuit against school and its owner.  The lawsuit filed Monday alleges Growing with Pride Preschool and Child Care of Tualatin and owner Lorinda Rule were negligent in the January death of Zoey Frontella.  The complaint says the 3 1/2-year-old girl choked while eating lunch and died from respiratory and cardiac arrest the next day.
Anne Frontella accuses the defendants of failing to provide adequate observation during lunch, failing to prepare food items safe for the girl's age and failing to perform "any or adequate" measures to revive her.
