Not Guilty Plea Entered In Jackson County Bombing Case

MEDFORD, OR -- The man accused of bombing the Jackson County District Attorney's office entered a not guilty plea in federal court Wednesday.  Alan Leroy McVay, 46, has been charged in the November 13th explosion.  Prosecutors say he set off the homemade device in hopes to avoid a November 14th sentencing.  Investigators said McVay threw a pipe bomb attacked to a propane tank into the DA’s office, but the tank did not explode.

His federal trial is set to start February 11th.
